Log Home Plans
Log homes are as old as history. However, they became fashionable only in the 1960′s and the demand for log house plans has been rising ever since. Today, average log home plans include at least 2,000 sq. feet of floor area and feature all the comfort and amenities of luxury house plans. While most buyers of log cabin house plans were originally into building a vacation retreat, a large portion of them eventually moved to their log homes permanently. Also, it is interesting to note that close to 90% of all log homes built in the recent years are found in or near large metropolitan areas.
