Small House Plans
Some house plan sellers consider any house plan with a floor area below 1,500 square feet a small house floor plan. Others set the upper limit at 2,000 sq. ft. The U.S. Census Bureau, however, uses a different categorization. Therefore, we at House Plans Advisor define small house plans as plans whose floor area is between 1,200 and 1,600 square feet.
