Victorian House Plans

Today’s victorian house plans have their origins in the Victorian Era of Great Britain, whic is considered the height of the British industrial revolution and the apex of the British Empire. It is often defined as the years from 1837 to 1901, when Queen Victoria reigned. For house plans to be considered victorian, they must incorporate elements of one or more of the victorian architectural styles. Many victorian style house plans combine the elements of several different styles and are not easily distinguishable as one particular style or another.
